Construct, assemble, maintain and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries.
Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, square to round and rectangular to round flowing blueprints.Work involoves use of hands and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs or turnbukcles.
Assist in testing assembles vessels.
Direct cleaning of boiler furnaces.
Inspect and repair boiler fittings such as safety valves, regulators, automatic-control-mechanisms, water columns and auxiliary machines.
Repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment.
Servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical ( not electrical) principals.
